Science Meets School Workshop

Investigating sediment samples...

At the very last day of the Science camp 2011 a workshop is going to be held in Sopot at the Institute of Oceanology Polish Academy of Sciences, Powstańców Warszawy 55 on the 12th September, 2011. Within this frame the students report from their impressions. On the other side we want to invite researchers, teachers and members of school authorities to join this ‘Science Meets School’ workshop in order to exchange their own experiences in this matter which is a very important measure to attract school students to science subjects. More information related to the workshop is available in the chapters "events".

25 lucky students and 5 teacher managed to receive a scholarship to join the Science Camp 2011 in Poland. During the next few days all will attend at preparatory meetings in the single countries to get prepared for the Science camp. Before starting the trip to Poland on September 3rd all students will be introduced in our Blog.
