Students prepare for Science Camp 2011

Students taking plankton samples

25 lucky students and 5 teacher managed to receive a scholarship to join the Science Camp 2011 in Poland. During the next few days all will attend at preparatory meetings in the single countries to get prepared for the Science camp. Before starting the trip to Poland on September 3rd all students will be introduced in our Blog.

The WebLab won the first prize for the best project logo!

During the The Annual Conference of the South Baltic Programme which took place in Schwerin from November 28th to 29th, 2011 the winners of the Programme's on-line competition for the best project pictures, the best project logos, and the best project homepages were rewarded. Congratulations to our partners from Klaipeda who designed the logo so successfully!

Science Meets School Workshop

Just at the very last day of the Science camp 2011 a workshop is going to be held in Sopot at the Institute of Oceanology Polish Academy of Sciences, Powstańców Warszawy 55 on the 12th September, 2011. Within this frame the students report from their impressions. But on the other side we want to invite researchers, teachers and members of school authorities to join this ‘Science Meets School’ workshop in order to exchange their own experiences in this matter.
